Beech forest under a snowstorm – Fine Art Print

Beech forest under a snowstorm – Black and white fine Art Print

I took this photo on a four day expedition in the Italian Central Apennines mountain range during a severe weather warning. I slept in freezing condition during the nights and had several battery failures. In the national park of Foreste Casentinesi there are a variety of tree species between 400 and 1660 mt of altitudes in high-biodiversity wilderness area. The beech is the most common tree species.
