Beauty salon window after the earthquake.
In April 2015 I was wandering inside the red zone cordoning off the medieval center of L’Aquila. It was fled on a deadly night of six years before.
In the silence of that ghost town, my attention was caught by the window of an abandoned beauty salon: It perfectly epitomized the abruptly interrupted life caused by the natural disaster.
